What OTIS imports from Okta
OTIS imports total user counts, active and inactive user counts, and application assignments from your Okta organisation. It identifies applications with inactive users and surfaces them as findings with calculated annual savings.
Step 1: Go to Integrations
In the OTIS dashboard, navigate to Integrations.
Step 2: Connect Okta
Click Connect Okta. You will be redirected to the OAuth consent screen. Sign in with your Okta administrator account.
Step 3: Authorise OTIS
OTIS requests read-only access to users and application data. It cannot modify access, change provisioning, or affect any Okta configuration.
Step 4: Run a sync
After connecting, click Sync now. The sync imports user counts and application assignments and matches them against your OTIS asset inventory.
Understanding the results
Total users shows the count of users in your Okta organisation. Active users is the count of non-blocked users. Apps found is the number of non-internal applications assigned in Okta. Assets updated is the count of OTIS assets matched to those applications with updated user counts.
If assets updated is 0
This means OTIS found Okta applications but could not match them to existing assets in your environment. Run an intake first to build your asset list, then re-sync Okta.
